हर उम्र में बच्चे का दिमाग़ और हाथ एक नया काम सीख रहे होते हैं। सही खिलौना वही है जो इसी महीने के काम में साथ दे। हर उम्र का अलग पेज है, जिसमें उस उम्र के खिलौने और पूरी गाइड है:

बच्चों के लिए सही खिलौना कैसे चुनें

पहला सवाल: क्या बच्चा इस खिलौने से आज खेल पाएगा? जो खिलौना इस महीने की क्षमता से मेल खाता है, वह रोज़ हाथ में आता है। दूसरा सवाल सुरक्षा का है: 3 साल से छोटे बच्चे के लिए हर टुकड़ा उसकी मुट्ठी से बड़ा हो, लकड़ी चिकनी हो और रंग पानी वाले (water-based) हों। तीसरा: एक खिलौना, एक काम। रिंग स्टैकर आकार सिखाता है, शेप पज़ल मिलान और पेग बोर्ड गिनती। ऐसे खिलौने बच्चे को ख़ुद उसकी ग़लती दिखाते हैं, और बच्चा अपने आप दोबारा कोशिश करता है। चौथा: एक समय में थोड़े खिलौने रखें और हर कुछ हफ़्तों में बदलें, ताकि हर खिलौना नया लगे।

5 खिलौने जो हर घर में ख़ूब खेले जाते हैं

  • स्पाइरल हैंगिंग मोबाइल, जन्म से: दोनों तरफ़ डिज़ाइन वाला बर्च लकड़ी का मोबाइल, जो धीरे घूमता है और नवजात की आँखों को पीछा करना सिखाता है।
  • ऑब्जेक्ट परमानेंस बॉक्स, 6 से 24 महीने, 3 गेंदों के साथ: गेंद छेद में डालो, गेंद ग़ायब, फिर सामने। बच्चा सीखता है कि छिपी चीज़ भी मौजूद रहती है।
  • रिंग स्टैकर, 6 से 24 महीने: छोटे से बड़े पाँच रंगीन रिंग, बीच की लकड़ी की डंडी पर।
  • नंबर पेग बोर्ड, 1 साल से: 1 से 10 तक के दस लकड़ी के बोर्ड और खूँटियाँ। हर बोर्ड पर लिखे अंक जितनी खूँटियाँ लगाकर बच्चा गिनती सीखता है।
  • भगवान की कहानियों की किताबें, 4 का सेट: गणेश, राम, कृष्ण और हनुमान की कहानियाँ, छोटे बच्चों के लिए बोर्ड बुक में।
